About ArbCI

Arbitration Championship India is a national arbitration competition for law students, organised by The PACT. The 2026–27 season is its first edition.

What ArbCI is for

ArbCI is for law students who have already done some arbitration. That might mean reaching the knockout stages of a national moot, representing your university at the Vis or another international moot, or building a record through internships, writing and conferences.

The core will be familiar from moots, with a proposition, memoranda for both sides and oral submissions before practitioners and academics. Two of the four rounds use new formats, which every team learns about at the same time. The New Delhi stage opens with a day of training led by industry practitioners, and the winners will be offered internship opportunities with leading law firms in India, as may other high-ranking teams where places allow.

Entry is by invitation through three routes. If you have not been invited, you can submit an Expression of Interest and the organising committee will consider it.
